Also Berkeley in one of his mathematical works (poss. 'On Infinitesimals') takes on Newton and Leibniz directly to destroy the underpinnings of calculus - a state that science was only retrieved from (I'm told) in 1996!

Thanks

Brendanmercuriushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10450506626355723210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21308815.post-75347270904159653732008-11-17T15:20:00.000+00:002008-11-17T15:20:00.000+00:00Stefano Menegatti, an Italian student in North Car...Stefano Menegatti, an Italian student in North Carolina, has just started a blog called Medieval Latin Philosophy, which I thought might be of interest.Brunellushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08630207490739621242noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21308815.post-27969309856345671152008-07-23T18:58:00.000+00:002008-07-23T18:58:00.000+00:00Wow, great page. As you say this history is severely misrepresented to the average student which I gradually became aware of as an undergraduate by reading outside class from various medieval histories and journals on the era. Thanks so much for your site.

DavidMetemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03140022939181495164noreply@blogger.com
