To be incomplete means to have only the properties specified in the description. But that there is a description implies that there is a description-giver.

I have to say the notion of a non-existent object strikes me as an intellectual perversity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21308815.post-29046841492719739102012-03-22T20:45:14.155+00:002012-03-22T20:45:14.155+00:00>>Once again, thank you. To be Meinongian is to be nonexistent object of thought (according to this absurd theory).Edward Ockhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07583379503310147119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21308815.post-33630039422289829452012-03-22T17:11:03.077+00:002012-03-22T17:11:03.077+00:00Once again, thank you. Some intentional objects are also real objects. E.g. the person I was thinking about a minute, namely George Osborne. Some aren't, namely the fictional character I am now thinking about, namely Frodo Baggins.

On the relation between the two, obviously the latter sort (such as Frodo Baggins) are Meinongian.Edward Ockhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07583379503310147119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21308815.post-80875490119170924842012-03-22T13:27:06.772+00:002012-03-22T13:27:06.772+00:00I wanted to ask about it at The Maverick, but it s...I wanted to ask about it at The Maverick, but it seems that BV has turned off commenting (?).
