here in an attempt to discover why Google seems consistently to favour Wikipedia. I created a smaller version of the same article in Wikipedia (which I will not link to for obvious reasons), but Google sadly ignores it.

When you search Google for "Andrew of Cornwall" (in quotation marks), this blog post comes up #1 for me, anyway. That's REALLY bizarre.
Hello Greg. Probably (a) because Google favours Blogger (b) because this blog gets regularly updated and commented upon (c) 'Andrew of Cornwall' is the actual title - Google likes titles
